變位
[編輯]這是一個規則-er動詞，但詞幹需要在以 -a- 或 -o- 開頭的詞尾前寫作 afflige-（以便表示 -g- 是一個清音 /ʒ/而非重音 /ɡ/）。這種拼寫的變化會出現於所有-ger結尾的動詞中，如neiger 和 manger。
